Sbarra's text includes excerpts from his libretto. The spectacle that he describes included allegorical pageantry, a horse ballet, and fireworks, and was performed on 24 and 31 Jan. 1667 in the Inner Burghof, Vienna. It was planned and directed by A. Carducci, with C. Pasetti as designer. The engraved or etched plates (3 on double sheets) are by Jan van Ossenbeeck, Franciscus van der Steen, or Gerard Bouttats after Nicolas de Hoy. The vocal music (now lost) was by A. Bertali, the instrumental music by J.H. Schmelzer. See Watanabe-O'Kelly.
