- Summary
-
Accurately measuring low level microwave signals over a large dynamic range presents many problems to instrumentation engineers. This is especially true if the measurements must be made at high speeds, as is the case when measuring radar cross sections. This paper discusses several systems for measuring low level microwave signals that are rapidly varying in power. The technique of designing a servo-controlled balanced-measurement system is discussed in detail and an experimental system is described. (Author).
