Grammatical analysis and explanation of various sūrahs of the Qur'ān, beginning with the entirety of al-Fātiḥah (sūrah 1), an-Nās (sūrah 114), al-Falaq (sūrah 113), and then al-Ikhlāṣ (sūrah 112). Then, special attention is paided to Sūrat al-Ṭāriq (sūrah 86) and to the āyat al-kursī (the "throne verse") in Sūrat al-Baqarah (sūrah 2). Composed in 877/1472-3.

al-Bruṣawī is not listed in Brockelmann, but is mentioned under the entry on Ḍiyā' al-Dīn al-Khazrajī. Not found in British Museum Cat. of Arabic books and mss.
This codex contains two works by two different authors, both written in the same hand. The Iʻrāb al-Ṭariqiyyah is the first of these two works, beginning on the first page of the manuscript and continuing until page 93. The second work, Kitāb al-anwār al-saʻādah fī sharḥ al-kalimatay al-shahādah, by al-Kāfiyajī begins on page 99, and continues until page 131. On the page preceding this second work (page 98), are found two rubāʻīs in Persian, written in a different hand from the main works.
Simple leather bound codex. Upper cover is detached; leather is crumbling away from the backing. Text written in black naskh script with rubrications. There are many notations in a different hand in the margins as well as on the final page.
