- Summary
-
A letter by Jacob Kurzman of Roman to Joseph Saul Nathanson of Lemberg regarding the ritual slaughterer, Yeḥiel Glents of Lemberg. Glents provided a certificate from two slaughterers that he is suitable to be a slaughterer. In addition, he provided a letter from Nathanson that he can practice slaughtering. Since in Roman it became clear that Glents actually was not qualified in slaughtering, Kurzman asked Nathanson if he wrote the letter, since the letter was not signed by him.
