Toonaangevende kunstenaar hebben zich laten inspireren door de natuur, cultuur en mensen in de Indonesische archipel. De werken komen uit de collectie van kunstverzamelaars Rob Colauto en zijn vrouw Yvonne van Peperstraten. Hun collectie Indische kunst wordt algemeen beschouwd als een van de grootste en meest gevarieerde van Nederland. De werken komen voornamelijk uit de eerste helft van de twintigste eeuw. Daaronder zeven topstukken van de schilder Isaac Israëls en werken van Pieter Ouburg, Dolf Breetvelt, Rudolf Bonnet, Willem Hofker en Johannes ten Klooster. Exhibition: Westfries Museum, Hoorn, The Netherlands (10.02.-09.06.2019).
