It is the practice of kāra-lāmah which is Turkish for 'black writing'. It is a practice sheet where the calligrapher would practice her/his penmanship to perfect it but also to try different nibs of his qalām, or reed pen.
Written on both sides.
Text written in ruled panels, between 4 to 7 lines per page.
Naskh script, inscription of some verses from the Qur'ān.
Calligraphy, title devised by cataloger, black ink.
