Unpublished anonymous erotic novel in the Sadeian tradition, written in the first person. The author begins by demanding a promise of secrecy from the reader "parce que l'histoire est vraie et que les personnages exisstent encore." The fourteen chapter headings are listed on the first page following the title.

Marbled paper over boards, roan spine label, untrimmed edges; worn, some fraying, soiling, minor tears, bumped corners; accompanied by an envelope containing several loose leaves of manuscript transcription in hand in blue ink, as well as a few photocopies of the original manuscript.
Written in a careless hand in brown ink with extensive manuscript emendations and corrections. No margins. Slips, presumably with corrected versions have been laid in at pages 35, 52, 57, 78, 81 and 95; an extra unnumbered leaf has been inserted between pages 68 and 69 with three verses in black ink manuscript in a different hand of a song (identified as being the work of Monsieur Vaul ) pasted in as the lower three quarters of of the leaf.
