The study note beginning with "naẓar fi hādhā al-kitāb" is signed by Ayyūb ibn 'Abd Allāh ibn Aḥmad ibn Dā'ūd al-Faqīh.
The first statement, written in a hand similar to the one employed in the main text, carries the name of Abū al-Ḥasan 'Alī ibn Muḥammad ibn Ya'qūb known as Ibn al-Maḥrūmah al-Māridī al-Masīḥī.
