Decoration: sung text on recto begins with a large ornately decorated initial S in red, blue and green inks followed by decorated letters P, I, and R in black, brown and red ; recto numbered XXXVIII [38] in red ; foot of recto includes the coat of arms (red cross atop three hills with an olive tree on each side of the hill formation) of the Benedictine monastic order of the Olivetans.
Gregorian chant for Pentecost Sunday ; text from the Book of Wisdom (Sapientia), chapter 1 ; musical notation in black ink on 4-line red staves ; sung texts in black ink.
