Origin: Item is undated, probably copied in the 13th century.
Decoration: Dual-page illumination on the first page-opening in gold, red and black (f. 1v-2r); circular flower motifs in gold, blue and red mark every tenth verse; sūrah headings in gold with marginal medallions in gold, red and blue; occasional letter in gold.
Script: Written in Early Abbasid (Kufic) in heavy black ink; some diacritics in red and green points.
Layout: 9 long lines.
