Written during the second half of the 12th century in northern France, probably in the Cistercian house of Vauluisant in the diocese of Sens; their ownership note in a later display script in the upper margin of f. 1.
Bound, s. XIX, by Larriviere in brown calf.
4- to 13-line parted initials in red, blue, green and/or ochre with red and green flourishing through quire 6; thereafter 3- to 8-line flourished initials in red only.
