Pickering's Addresses (p. [66]-89) are found in complete form in his "Letters addressed to the people of the United States ..." (London, 1811)
"Review of Robert Smith's Address" (p. [51]-65) is part of the work originally published in the National intelligencer, and later as a pamphlet of 36 pages (Philadelphia, J. Binn, 1811); according to Irving Brant's James Madison, v. 5, p. 307-308, it may be the work of Joel Barlow or of William Lee.
Appendix (p. 44-47) contains correspondence between Smith and Thomas Jefferson.
