Manuscript, in Cruikshank's and others' hands, of a collection of more than a dozen verse and prose fragments, notes, and letters received, each accompanied by Cruikshank's drawings, caricatures, and sketches in pencil, ink, or watercolor. Numerous letters discuss Cruikshank's illustrations for publications, including one by Richard Bentley; others discuss employment on the docks and attendance at a Dramatic Committee meeting. Drafts include notes about criminals and a fragment of Cruikshank's 'A Pop-Gun.' At the front of the volume is an engraved portrait of Cruikshank.
