The part borrowed from a farce by Henry Lee acted as "Throw physic to the dogs" (printed in 1809 under title,"Caleb Quotem and his wife") is here replaced by matter from Dibdin's "Sunshine after rain", which Colman claims was Lee's original. cf. Advertisement, and Lee's Memoirs cf. also Genest, v. 7, p. 287-390.
