for the better enabling of our brethren of Scotland, for our assistance and defence, in this common cause of our religion and liberty. Die Veneris, 27 Octob. 1643. It is this day ordered by the Lords and Commons in Parliament assembled, that the ordinance entituled, An ordinance of the Lords and Commons, for the raising of sixty six thousand, six hundred, sixty six pounds, thirteene shillings, and foure pence, by way of loane: for the better enabling of our brethren of Scotland for our assistance and defence, in this common cause of our religion and libery, shall be forthwith printed and published.
