Interviews conducted August l967 by Amelia R. Fry for the Bancroft Library Regional Oral History Office. Photographs inserted. Boyhood in British Columbia; work in forestry jobs in the province; education in forestry; teaching at Oregon State School of Forestry, 1937-1942; assistant state forester (Oregon) in charge of Forest Conservation Act, 1942-1945; return to Oregon State and work on curriculum revision; dean of the School of Forestry, 1955-1966. Appendix: copies of letters relative to the interviews; copies of a poem, an article and a talk by McCulloch; example of questions used in editing. Included also (as v.2): copies of his articles on forest conservation; and transcripts of anecdotes of experiences in the woods, made from tapes in Self Learning Center, School of Forestry.
