Engravings: Portuguese royal arms borne above Lisbon by two angels, and portrait of Figueiredo, both by Picart; divisional title and 44 writing samples, most signed by Andrade. Leaf 44 has colophon: Manoel de Andrade de Figueiredo, les, escreveo, e inventou na era de 1718.
Three issues are known, each containing the same engravings and text, but differing in typography and woodcut material: the first issue t.p. vignette is a flower basket; the second issue t.p. vignette is a vase of flowers within a grotesque frame; in the third issue, the preliminaries are condensed into [16] p.--Cf. Campos Ferreira Lima.
The licenses are dated 1719 and 1722.
