Woodcut t.p. border incorporating Zenaro's device (salamander). Frontispiece (c8v). The full-page woodcut ill. are nearly all full-length clothed figures of men and women. They are placed within decorative borders printed from 4 blocks (repeats). Three views of Piazza San Marco (39r, 120v, 151v), courtyard of the Doges' Palace (101r), gondoliers (122r). The woodcuts, designed by Vecellio, were cut by "Christoforo Guerra Thedesco da Norimbergo" (200r; also mentioned on 155r). Head- and tail-pieces. Initials.
