An inserted MS note states that the inaccessible t.p. verso of the suite of prints bears dedication to the comtesse de Harcourt, signed A.B. (Abraham Bosse?). A 2nd note states that recto of 2nd leaf of L'agreable entretien (now pasted to verso of plate 7) bears the "Aprobation des docteurs" dated Nov. 1648. This has been taken as publication date.
