Except for letterpress dedication on verso of 1st leaf, printed from woodcut blocks through leaf [25], and from there on largely in italic letterpress. Four full-page illustrations, the first two of which did not appear in Giovanniantonio's ed. of 1539: leaf [21]v, four panels with depictions of a ship, swine, fruit, fowl; [25]v, an allegory with 3 hearts; [26]v, writing paraphernalia; [32]v, an astronomer observing the heavens. Decorated and historiated initials in letterpress section.
