"For a start, the Monitoring and Evaluation exercise was carried out in the 21 Federal Colleges of Education in 2008. In 2009 attention was focused on the State Colleges of Education. There were 44 State Colleges of Education in Nigeria as at the month of August, 2009, when the Monitoring and Evaluation exercise for State Colleges of Education was planned. Out of the 44 Collegess, 28 Colleges were covered. The exercise for the remaining 16 Colleges was carried out along with some private State Colleges of Education in 2011"--Page 1.
