Reprint of edition published under title: Opere complete di Niccolò Machiavelli. Firenze : Passigli, Borghi e compagni, 1831. Bertelli & Innocenti (p. clxvii) characterize it as "la ristampa (o una variante?) delle opere complete di due anni prima"; it is in fact a new edition, set page-for-page and for the most part line-for-line from its predecessor.
