Note: Etched throughout. First leaf is title, 2nd is Mitelli's preface entitled "A suoi scolari." The 23 leaves that follow bear an alphabet (omitting J, U, W), the letters formed from human or mythological figures. In the margins are faces and other body parts intended as models for drawing. Above most letters is an animal or bird whose name begins with the letter. Three lines of text at foot of each letter.
