Gallaher appointed to publish the debates and proceedings in full as supplements of the regular issues of the Richmond newspapers, and to print in book form a Register of the debates and proceedings. Only one volume covering Jan. 6-March 7, 1851, was printed, because the members were slow in returning the revised and corrected manuscript of their speeches, and because a misunderstanding arose in reagrd to the payment for printing. cf. 500 ⊔ ⊔ ‡aConvention met Oct. 14, 1850, in Hall of Representatives in the Capitol and continued to Nov. 14, 1850, when a recess was taken until Jan. 6, 1851. The General Assembly being then in sessn, the Convention assembled in the Universalist Church, adjorned August 1, 1851.
