Especial attention is directed to the value of neighborhood of community effort in controlling a group of pests originating, as do these, in areas from which extended migration is infrequent if not impossible. Given and intelligently applied and timely campaign by the entire community, each year that indications point to a serious grasshopper invasion, the losses from this source may be easily kept at a minimum." -- p.
