Hearings before the Committee on foreign affairs, House of representatives, Sixty-seventh Congress, second session, on H.J. Res. 216 and H.J. Res. 297 requesting the President of the United States to call a conference of maritime nations with a view to the adoption of effective means for the prevention of pollution of navigable waters by oil-burning and oil-carrying steamers by the dumping into such waters of oil waste, fuel oil, oil sludge, oil slop, tar residue, and water ballast.
