to be used in all churches and chapels in Nova-Scotia, on Thursday the eighteenth day of December, 1834, being the day appointed by proclamation from His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, for a general thanksgiving to Almighty God, for His mercy in staying the pestilence with which the town of Halifax has been lately visited, and in saving all other parts of the province from its ravages.
