All engraved ports. as well as the "Carroccio" were carried out by Agostino Carracci; see note, ²[dagger]2r. In addition to those of Campi and Philip, the ports comprise those of illustrious Cremonesi (libro 3), dukes and duchesses of Milan (libro 4). Sources are given for the ports. in libro 4. They include Leonardo (N4v) and Titian (O1v), and Mortimer identifies the source of the 2nd port. of Philip II (O4v) as Juan Pantoja de la Cruz. The port. on G3r is a woodcut.
