Note: Sheet [1] is the engraved title. The succeeding prints are numbered I-XXVI, corresponding to Lieure's 2nd state. They are etched, with some engraving, soft-ground etching, and perhaps drypoint. Lieure suggests that only the first 4 prints are by Callot, the remaining 23 being perhaps by Abraham Bosse.
Consists of the ill. only from Langlois' Paris ed. of 1646, without the letterpress mottos above the image or the explanatory verses below.
