This is the report of the second Ionian mission, sent by the Society of Dilettanti in 1811. Engravings of the drawings and map made by the mission were to have been published in a companion volume to Part 3 of Antiquities of Ionia (pt. 3 published in 1840) but publication was delayed until 1915 when Part 5 was published.--Cf.
