Advertisement, p. [479]-[480], listing completed titles in series Routledge's British poets; headed "Routledge, Warnes, & Routledge's ... ", but with "George Routledge & Co., Farringdon Street" at end.
Text identical to 1st issue, 1856, except: preface reset, omitting last sentence and type signature; table of contents rearranged alphabetically; erratum, p. xvii, omitted and error at p. 1, note 3, corrected (now reading "Busy").
Cf. Egerer, no. 633, who lists a "Routledge, Warne and Routledge" issue of 1859, London only, with a variant including the New York address, noting "This also came out in 'Routledge's British Poets.' ... The Weekly Scotsman, 27 Oct. 1934, claims this to be a new edition. I think not"; it is more likely, however, that this is the sole form in which Routledge issued the work in 1859, and that Egerer was misled by the Burns memorial catalogue, no. 584 et seq.
Printer's statement, verso of t.p.: "London Savill and Edwards, Printers, Chandos Street."
