- Summary
-
The calculation of detonation properties of condensed explosives with a theoretical equation of state requires knowledge of the potentials of intermolecular force for the product molecules, with emphasis on the repulsive region. In this report, the available information on the potential functions of A, N₂, CO, H₂O, H₂, NO, CO₂, O₂, and CH₄ is collected, and for each species a potential function is chosen for use in the detonation calculation.
