Summary

Four ejectors mounted in each pod under each wing and powered with compressed air were used to simulate vertical-lift, fan-type jet engines. Data were obtained through an angle-of-attack range to show the effects of engine-pod location, ground-plane movement, flaps, tail size and location, and l0⁰ of sideslip on the aerodynamic characteristics of the model, and the effects of configuration changes on the jet and free-stream interference increments.--P.
