Central Hillside; First street and Fifth Avenue West; Customs House or Federal Building or what was called the Old Post Office building is the large Romanesque-style building on the corner; brownstone or redstone post office building; Jackson school; Fourth Avenue West is on the right side of the image; Munger Terrace was built in 1892; pavilion at top of incline is in the distance which burned May 28, 1901; houses; hillside; horse and wagon;the house on the lot above the Federal Bldg was Alexander McDougall's; he sold it to the county for the new courthouse; they are lots 78 and 80 block 19 for $49,000, the address is 426-432 West Second Street
