Aerial View of Austin Township Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36 shows farmland, trees, roads and homes. Varco Station, established in 1875, served the community for a short time on the south side of Section 26, along the routes of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad and the Chicago Great Western Railroad that travel south into Iowa. County Roads 4 and 29 and Federal Highway 218 serve as transportation routes in these sections. Enterprise Rural School District 29 is located on the west side of Section 25.
