Summary

In the fifth book in the series, nine year-old Flaxie is tormented by a three year-old neighbor girl, Katharine 'Kittyleen' Garland. Kittyleen and her five siblings were always left in the care of their neighbors, while their mother spent her time beautifully painting china. Flaxie's behavior takes a gradual turn for the better through her relationship with Kittyleen.
