Each volume, except Newcastle Tracts, has a title-page and table of contents in manuscript, and binder's titles: Poetical Tracts, Angling Tracts, Biographical Tracts, Historical Tracts, Newcastle Tracts, Tracts on Coins, Tracts on Printing, and Miscellaneous Tracts respectively. Newcastle Tracts, containing nos.: 35, 54, 55, 57, 60 and 61, has a printed title-page and table of contents with title and imprint: A collection of very rare and curious historical tracts, relating to the town and country of Newcastle upon Tyne. Newcastle: Printed for Emerson Charnley, 1837.
The volume of angling pamphlets is extra-illustrated.
Each pamphlet has individual title-page and separate pagination, and published in editions of 20 to 306 copies, where the size is known.
