delivered by Charles Pearson, at a public meeting, on the llth, 12th, and 18th of Dec. 1843...containing a brief history of the Corporation of London as the asylum of English freedom in past ages, with a statement of its public services in more modern times.
Also the proceedings and resolutions of the meeting, vindicating Mr. Pearson from certain anonymous imputations upon his political consistency and official conduct.
