Remonstrance of the Union League Club against the bill for the construction by the Commissioner of Public Works of a new aqueduct from the Croton Valley to the city,
with reasons in favor of the appointment by the Governor and Senate of five commissioners to consider the subject and report at the next session, and with authority, if need be, to construct such aqueduct in place of the Commissioner of Public Works.
