The 72 plates (numbered 1-63) at end of [v. 2] include facsimiles of many additional emblems, printer's devices, etc.
Most of the emblems are from earlier works published by Plantin, more than half being identical with those in the works of Alciati Paradin, and Sambucus. cf. p. 252.
