The negro law of South Carolina,
collected and digested by John Belton O'Neall, one of the judges of the courts of law and errors of the said state, under a resolution of the State Agricultural Society of South Carolina: read before them at their September semi-annual meeting, 1848, at Spartanburg Court House--by them directed to be submitted to the governor, with a request that he would lay it before the legislature, at its approaching session, November, 1848, and by him ordered to be published for the information of the members.
