"A collection of letters, written by Dr. José Francisco Martins, a veteran freedom fighter, addressed to his fiancée, Dr. (Miss) Esmina Gomes, from the Aguada Fort jail, Goa, where he was incarcerated during the freedom struggle of Goa, Daman, and Diu. The original in Portuguese, has been translated into English by the author himself. The title of the Portuguese version is "Amor censurado", i.e., Censored courtship, for, each and every word of it was censored by the government authorities. Censored
