Purchased in Cairo, 1924. On flyleaf, seals and autographs of three (?) owners, one not identified: tamallakahu al-faqīr al-sayyid Muḥammad ʻĀrif; ʻarsh al-muʻaẓẓam dawlat al-zannām Muḥammad Yāfat. Once part of the personal manuscript collection of Sultan Abdülhamid II of Turkey.
