- Summary
-
"Said by the dealer from whom it was purchased to be a rare work on astronomical instruments by Abū Jaʻfar Naṣīr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan, al-Ṭūsī, 587/1201-672/1274. No such treatise by Naṣīr al-Dīn is listed among his works by Suter or Brockelmann, and the author's name does not appear in this manuscript.... The beginning [is] lost ... it is apparent that many other folios have been either lost or misplaced." Cataloging by Elinor M. Husselman, 1945.
