A new ed., revised by Charles Gildon, appeared 1699 under title: The lives and characters of the English dramatick poets.
Based on his "New catalogue of English plays, London, 1688. [Dec. 1687]" an unauthorized edition of which had appeared a month earlier under title: Momus triumphans: or, The plagiaries of the English stage.
