The body of the present volume consists of the text and an English translation of Raghunatha' s work together with a running commentary thereon designed to aid the reader in understanding the force of the arguments. In the Introduction the author explains briefly the historical background of Navya-nyaya, the nature of the Vaisesika metaphysical categories, and the aims of the Navya-nyaya logicians, matters acquaintance with which, in author's opinion, is necessary in order to understand and assess the value of Raghunatha's contribution.
