Description of the Hereford "mappa mundi", or, world map, probably drawn between 1285 and 1295 by Richard of Haldingham, who has been identified with Richard de Bello, prebend of Lafford in Lincoln Cathedral about 1283, who later became an official of the Bishop of Hereford, and was appointed prebend of Norton in Hereford Cathedral.
