A collection rich in early printed books, French, Italian and Spanish works, rare voyages and travels, etc., but especially famous for fine bindings; left by William Beckford to his younger daughter, the Duchess of Hamilton, and removed after his death, 1844, to Hamilton palace, but kept apart from the Hamilton collections.
