Tells how Tituba, a slave, was sold in Barbados to a preacher bound for Boston and became one of three women convicted at the beginning of the Salem witch trials. The story of the slave Tituba and her husband, John Indian, from the day they were sold in Barbados until the tragic Salem witchcraft trials. In the Salem Village of 1692, superstition and hysteria peaked with the Salem witch trials. One of the first three "witches" condemned is Tituba, a slave from Barbados.
