Vols. 1 & 2 contain plates depicting the Bayeux Tapestry. Woodcut initials, one signed VC LS (Vincent Le Sueur?). Woodcut and engraved head- and tail-pieces. Some woodcut head-pieces and the t.p. vignettes are signed "P" (a few "SP").
